    What I learned from tonights run…

    It is TMI Tuesday still right? *checks clock* yup. good, got a real doozy for ya…

    Pro Tip: Unless you are Paula radcliffe always go before you leave the house for a run.

    When you are fearful of taking another long stride lest you unleash hell puts a real dampener on your run, trust me.

    Managed to get halfway through the session before bowing out but no amount of MTFU can hold back the call of nature so off home I went at fast as I could without openly inviting trouble.

    Gutted I only got 5k in but I’m off work Thursday & Friday so I’ll be out for either a long ride or run if I can.

    Gotta give my recommendation to Tracy this week in recognition of her passing the 20 minute non-stop running mark on Couch to 5k as I know just how great it feels to hit that milestone and how daunting a task it is to go up against as a new runner. Congrats!

    This guy started his journey before me sometime late last summer and has come much further than I have but we’re currently both about the same weight and it surprises me just how much he puts into his workouts (or as he calls it his ‘Supervillain Training’) and how unfit it makes me feel, lol.

    He also sounds like a really good guy to know if your car needs a jumpstart given how much he loves pushing his jeep around as part of his training.
